STORY
Rachel and Adam have always “known” of each other.
Rachel was close with Sandy and Bruce and Adam was close with Eva and Stan well before this relationship came to be. Rachel and her family had spent time traveling with Sandy and Bruce and Adam had spent many Boots and Heart’s alongside Eva and Stan. As Rachel and Adam crossed paths they were always sure to sneak in the shy: “Hi! How are you?!” and a hug every time they saw each other. Little did they know what the future had in store for them.
As fate would have it, Rachel and Adam officially hit it off in April of 2020. The Phillips and the Dunford’s family cottages were ground zero for this love story. Time almost stood still as they got to know each other as their love flourished through a global pandemic. Both working from home and spending about 4 years worth of time with eachothers’s families within the span of a few months. I think they can both attest to “when you know you know”. On a perfect June afternoon, the 3rd to be exact, surrounded by family at Rachel’s cottage, Adam surprised Rachel with a proposal that she had absolutely no idea about! Rachel and Adam love 3 things deeply, their family, friends and travelling. To celebrate this love story, the two thought to combine their 3 favorite things as they depart to Casa De Campo to celebrate their love with friends and family at one of their favorite travel destinations.
Rachel and Adam, along with their families can’t wait to welcome you to Casa De Campo for a week they won’t ever forget.

First things first:
Getting to Casa De Campo
To travel to Casa de Campo, there are two convenient airports: PUJ (Punta Cana) and SDQ (Santo Domingo). Travel time from Punta Cana to Casa De Campo is 45 minutes, and travel time from Santo Domingo is 1 hour. However, we recommend flying into PUJ (Punta Cana), as the airport is a little more tourist-friendly and organized.

The Welcome Party
Tuesday, December 12
5:00-8:00 pm | Located at Villa Clara
Please join Sandy & Bruce Phillips as they host a “brighter, the better” kick-off party at Villa Clara. The Phillips family looks forward to hosting you for cocktails and canapes as we welcome everyone to Casa De Campo!
Attire
The “Brighter the Better” and please note that the party will be held on grass.
Transportation
Please meet in the lobby of the Casa De Campo hotel at 3:45pm to take a shuttle to the villa. You may park your golf cart at the hotel. Please do NOT drive to the villa on your own as we do not have room to park golf carts.
The Wedding Day
Wednesday, December 13
Ceremony
4:00-4:45pm
Located at Altos De Chavon, Casa De Campo
Attire
Black Tie & Running Shoes. Yes, we mean running shoes!
This dress code is a reflection of Rachel and Adam as they love to get dressed up, but also love being comfortable. Having said that, it is also because of the cobblestones. The cobblestones can be dangerous at Altos, please do not try to “get away” with low heels or wedges as it might be a hazard!
Men: Tuxedos and bow ties are preferred, however, dark suits and bow ties are suitable as well.
Women: Floor-length, formal dresses.
Transportation
Please meet in the lobby of the Casa De Campo hotel at 3:30pm sharp to take a shuttle to the wedding venue. You may park your golf cart at the hotel.
Cocktails
5:00-6:45pm
From the ceremony, you will be ushered to the cocktail area which is a 2-minute walk from the ceremony. Cocktails and canapés will be served during cocktail hour.
Reception
7:00pm-1:30am
Located at Altos De Chavon Plaza, Casa De Campo
We would say “Bring your dancing shoes” but you will already have them on!
Transportation
There will be shuttles leaving the reception to go back to the hotel starting at 10 pm. The shuttles can also take you directly to your villa upon request, especially if you do not feel comfortable driving a golf cart. If at any point you would like to leave the reception and you do not see a shuttle please contact Claire and her team to help you out with getting a ride home.
The Farewell Beach Party
Thursday, December 14th
1:00 pm till late | Located at Minitas Beach Club
In true Rachel and Adam fashion, they don’t want the party to stop! Please bring your bathing suits and sunglasses for an afternoon at the pool deck and ocean at Minitas Beach Club. Drinks and food will be provided as we reminisce on the night and raise a poolside toast!
Attire
Beach chic. Bathing suits, coverups, flip flops or wedges.
Transportation
Please drive your golf cart to Minitas Beach Club, as there is plenty of parking for everyone’s golf cart.
