The Welcome Party
Tuesday, December 12
Time & Location: 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Villa Clara
Dress Code: The “Brighter the Better!” Please note that the party is held on grass.
Please join Sandy & Bruce as they host the welcome party to kick off the festivities!
Cocktails and canapés will be served, however, this won’t be a full dinner. You may want to book a dinner reservation following the party. Please see the travel page of the website for Rachel and Adam’s restaurant recommendations.
A shuttle will be picking everyone up at 4:45pm from the hotel lobby. You may park your golf cart at the hotel. Shuttles will also be taking guests back to the hotel to pick up their golf carts when the welcome party is over.
The Wedding Day
Wednesday, December 13
Time & Location: 4:00pm Ceremony at Altos De Chavon
Dress Code: Black tie & running shoes.
Men: Tuxedos and bow ties are preferred, however, dark suits and bow ties are suitable as well.
Women: Floor-length dresses.
We also suggest bringing a shawl or jacket as well. As soon as the sun goes down it gets a little bit chilly. It can also be very windy, just a heads up!
Please meet at the hotel lobby for 3:30pm to take the shuttle to the ceremony. Cocktails and reception to follow, all within 5 minutes walking distance. Ladies, please do not attempt block heels or wedges. Running shoes only. The cobblestones can be dangerous and we do not want anyone getting hurt!
Farewell Beach Party
Thursday, December 14
Time & Location: 1:00pm at Minitas Beach Club
Dress Code: Beach chic
Please bring your bathing suits and sunglasses for an afternoon at the pool deck and ocean at Minitas Beach Club. Drinks and food will be provided as we reminisce on the night and raise a poolside toast! Please drive your golf cart to Minitas Beach Club, as there is plenty of parking for everyone’s golf cart.
